Admiral Court care home in Leigh-on-Sea Essex is a care home specialising in dementia care. The home combines state-of-the-art facilities with a warm and homely environment. 

Each of the bedrooms is cosy and inviting, elegantly furnished and has its own en-suite shower facilities. Several rooms on the ground floor have large bay windows, while some have direct access onto a private patio garden area. All bedrooms feature a Dementia Monitoring System to support the well-being of residents. Facilities include a therapy room, a dedicated activities room, a choice of spacious lounges and kitchenette/dining rooms for those who wish to help prepare their own snacks or drinks in between mealtimes.

All bedrooms have flat-screen TVs, telephone points and electric profiling beds. Our advanced nurse call system, Intercall 700, is the only range recommended by the National Care Home Association. For our residents’ safety, we have installed an advanced Aqua-Mist sprinkler system throughout the home.

Our home has a stunning, sensory garden which has been specially designed for those living with dementia. It includes a soft surface games area and kitchen garden, and is planned to stimulate interest in gardening and outdoor activities. We work closely with Thrive, a well-respected charity that promotes the therapeutic benefits of gardening.
