Award-winning Cartref Annwyl Fan

The green-fingered team at Cartref Annwyl Fan Care Home, on Colonel Road, have once again been recognised in the Betws in Bloom competition.

The home was named the winner in the ‘Commercial and Business Premises’ category for 2013.
Manager Adele Williams attended the awards event where she was presented with a trophy along with several other winners in various categories.

Adele said of the homes success, “It is wonderful to have won the competition again this year as our team and residents work so hard on our gardens.  It is great to have this recognised and our residents are thrilled with the trophy.”

This isn’t the first success for Cartref Annwyl Fan’s gardens.  The home recently walked away
with the award for ‘Best Visual Appeal’ in the Hallmark Care Homes company-wide competition, Hallmark in Bloom, beating 16 other homes to the title.
