MP Joins Kew House Residents for Cocktail Party
Residents at Kew House, our care home in Wimbledon, recently welcomed their local MP Stephen Hammond and members of the community to a cocktail party.
The care team at the home arranged live entertainment while a mixologist served up cocktails to the guests.
Residents and their loved ones were encouraged to wear their finest jewellery and sequin numbers to the special event. Residents also had the chance to question their local MP about the upcoming May election.
Kew House resident, Eileen Symonds, 101, said: “It’s been jolly good fun. Myself and my daughter really appreciate all the effort the home has gone to to make it a nice evening for everyone.”
Tory MP for Wimbledon, Stephen Hammond said: “It was wonderful to meet and see so many residents along with their family members enjoying themselves and having fun. The staff clearly do an amazing job at Kew House and it was a very happy occasion.”
