Kew House resident and ‘Super Gran’ Eileen Symonds 101 shares her secret to longevity on ITV’s Good Morning Britain

Kew House resident Eileen Symonds recently shared her secret to longevity on ITV’s Good Morning Britain.

Eileen, 101, featured in a part of ITV’s programme, they titled ‘Super Grans.’

Eileen, who has 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and still exercises every day was asked by ITV her secret to old age and was filmed ballroom dancing in the Wimbledon home with her grandson.

“From quite a young age I think I was always quite active, out walking, we used to have German Shepherds and I was always taking them out walking,” said Eileen.

Eileen, who used to ballet dance when she was younger and was a model in her later years added: “I am just very fortunate and I thank the good lord for giving me the strength, that’s all I can do and I am very grateful.”
