Hallmark Care Homes to spread a bit of love this Valentine’s weekend by giving out 1000 roses to residents
Hallmark Care Homes will spread a bit of love this Valentine’s weekend by giving out roses to our residents.
Over 1000 wooden roses will be distributed by the care team to residents from each of our 15 Hallmark Care Homes across England and Wales.
The thoughtful activity, which has been aided by Anita at charity, Anita’s Angels, helps to build on those important relationships between the care team and our residents and celebrate how much we care.
Avnish Goyal, Managing Director of Hallmark Care Homes said: “This Valentine’s weekend, our care team are going to distribute over 1000 roses to our resident’s with an accompanying card.
“The aim is to make our residents’ feel special this Valentine’s Day, and let them know we are there for them as we care for them, and value our relationship with them as our greatest asset.
“Many of our residents haven’t received a rose in years, while others have never received a rose in their lifetime. We hope giving them a rose this Valentine’s weekend will bring a smile to their face and show them how much we care.”
Alexandra Grange Care Home in Wokingham, is one of the homes taking part and the home’s Lifestyle Leader is helping to distribute the roses. Adriana Fernandes-Bowyer said: “We are really looking forward to presenting our residents’ with roses this Valentine’s weekend.
“I think our residents will really appreciate the gesture and the roses will make a really nice keep sake and reminder of the activity.”
