Admiral Court to hold a Dementia Friends session – 14th, 21st and 28th September

Admiral Court our care home in Leigh-on-Sea, is holding Dementia Friends sessions at the home to encourage visitors to learn more about the condition and help raise awareness throughout World Alzheimer’s Month.

The events will be taking place on Wednesday 14th, 21st and 28th September, at 12:30-1:30pm.

The informal and interactive sessions will be run by the homes Dementia Champion, Kelly Adams, who is the Customer Relationship Manager at Admiral Court.

The short sessions will explore what it’s like to live with dementia, how you can make someone who lives with dementia live a fulfilled life and the small things you can do to make a difference.

Visitors who complete the session will receive a Dementia Friends badge and some takeaway material from The Alzheimer’s Society.
