Ty Enfys to hold two Dementia Friends sessions

Ty Enfys, our care home in Cardiff, is holding two Dementia Friends’ sessions at the home to encourage visitors to learn more about the condition and to help raise awareness.

The events will be taking place on Wednesday 29th March and Wednesday 26th April at 2:00pm which coincides with the home’s Dementia Cafe.

The informal and interactive sessions will be run by the homes Dementia Champion, Hannah Russell, who is the Lifestyle Assistant at Ty Enfys.

The short sessions will explore what it’s like to live with dementia, how you can make someone who lives with dementia live a fulfilled life and the small things you can do to make a difference.

Visitors who complete the session will receive a Dementia Friends’ badge and some takeaway material from The Alzheimer’s Society.
