Bucklesham Grange care team shortlisted for four prestigious awards

The care team at Bucklesham Grange, our care home in Ipswich, have been shortlisted for four prestigious Great British Care Awards.

General Manager Daniel Rowark, Lifestyle Leader Kirsty Thomas and Care Assistant Kieran Wilding are in the running for awards in the ‘Innovation’, ‘Activity Organiser’ and the ‘Dementia Carer’ categories at the organisers East of England ceremony.

Meanwhile, the care team at our home, which was awarded an ‘Outstanding’ care rating from the Care, Quality Commission in September, have also been shortlisted for the respected ‘Care Home Team of the Year’ category.

The esteemed awards, which take place across 10 regions in England, seek to pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.

General Manager of Bucklesham Grange, Daniel Rowark said: “We are absolutely delighted to be in the final for a number of Great British Care Awards this year.

“It is a huge honour and I am incredibly proud of Kirsty, Kieran and the rest of our team, for they have all contributed to Bucklesham Grange Care Home’s on-going success. We can’t wait until Thursday!”

The winners of the East of England Great British Care Awards will be announced at a glittering ceremony on November 9th at the Holiday Inn in Peterborough.
