Chamberlain Court Care Home to launch WI
Chamberlain Court, our new, state-of-the-art care home in Royal Tunbridge Wells is launching a women’s institute at the home for residents, relatives, team members and members of the local community.
The purpose of the Women’s Institute is to offer opportunities for all women to enjoy friendship, to learn, to widen their horizons and together influence local affairs.
The first meeting which will discuss the creation of the Women’s Institute will take place on Thursday 30th November at 2:00pm. It will be hosted by the care home’s Hospitality Services Manager, Nikki Tucker.
Meetings thereafter will take place on the third Thursday of each month, between 2.30pm-4.00pm.
Nikki said: “We are really looking forward to creating a Women’s Institute at Chamberlain Court Care Home.
“There are currently three Women’s Institutes in Royal Tunbridge Wells and they are all oversubscribed and in the evening. Chamberlain Court Care Home’s WI will pride itself on being a daytime WI, and it will enable our residents to meet like-minded ladies of all ages and discuss topical affairs from the comfort of their own home.”
If you would like to attend the upcoming meeting or if you have any questions, please contact Nikki on 01892 629154 or email Nikki.Tucker@hallmarkcarehomes.co.uk for further information.
