Lakeview Care Home to host Dementia Friends session

Lakeview, our care home in Surrey will be hosting a Dementia Friends session on Saturday 3rd February at 12:30pm.

The informal and interactive session which will take place at the home will be run by the homes’ Lifestyles Team Leader, Krissi-Lea Dawson.  

The short session, which is taught in partnership with The Alzheimer’s Society, explores what it is like to live with dementia, how you can make someone who lives with dementia live a fulfilled life and the small things you can do to make a difference.

Visitors who complete the session will receive a Dementia Friends’ badge and some takeaway material from The Alzheimer’s Society.
