Anya Court Care Home to host Dementia Friends session

Anya Court, our care home in Rugby will be hosting a Dementia Friends session on Wednesday 28th February at 5pm.

The informal and interactive session which will take place at the home will be run by the homes’ Customer Relationship Manager and Dementia Champion, Karen Handley.

The short session, which is taught in partnership with The Alzheimer’s Society, explores what it is like to live with dementia, how you can make someone who lives with dementia live a fulfilled life and the small things you can do to make a difference.

Visitors who complete the session will receive a Dementia Friends’ badge and some takeaway material from The Alzheimer’s Society.
