Chamberlain Court Care Home donate £350 to Tunbridge Wells Girls’ Grammar School
Chamberlain Court, our award-winning care home in Royal Tunbridge Wells, recently donated £350 to Tunbridge Wells Girls’ Grammar School Combined Cadet Force so they could purchase a new PE storage box.
The PE storage box will be used to store outdoor equipment that aids the training of the schools’ Cadet Force.
General Manager at Chamberlain Court Care Home, Genevieve Rodrigues said: “It is always wonderful to be able to give back to the community and to help out one of the schools in the local area.
“The school were so grateful for the donation and we hope that the PE storage box will positively benefit their education and cadet training.”Contingent Commander of the Tunbridge Wells Girls’
Grammar School Combined Cadet Force, Aimee Reynolds said: “Our cadets have many opportunities in the course of each year to reflect on the service and sacrifices of other generations so receiving a practical gift like these storage facilities from Chamberlain Court Care Home is something that really shows that once again, senior citizens are helping us to achieve our goals.
“We are tremendously grateful for this generous donation and it will be put to immediate use as we prepare to take more than 70 cadets to annual camp this year. Thank you again for reminding us that there are great community conscious organisations in Tunbridge Wells.
