Lightwater care home host charity car wash

Lakeview, our care home in Lightwater, Surrey, recently raised £200 by hosting a charity car wash for members of the local community.

Team members at the vibrant care home dressed up for the occasion for fun as they washed 28 cars to raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK, which will go towards fuelling life-changing dementia research.

Lifestyles Team Leader at Lakeview Care Home, Krissi-Lea Dawson said: “We had an amazing day at our charity car wash and the sun was shining.

“The residents loved getting involved and there was a fantastic atmosphere at the home. We can’t wait for the next car wash fundraiser.”
