2018 Garden award for Anisha Grange Care Home

Anisha Grange, our care home in Billericay, Essex has been named Best Care/Nursing Home at the annual Billericay in Bloom gardening competition.

Our home, which offers residential, nursing and dementia care was praised for our use of outdoor space and our resident engagement on the judging day.

The Billericay in Bloom competition first established in 1999, encourages residents and the local community to get involved in gardening, be it by planting pots or simply sitting in the garden and joining in with the conversation.

Customer Relationship Manager at Anisha Grange Care Home, Carl Roberts said: “Our residents and team will be delighted with this award, it is a great honour to be recognised by the RHS judges and Billericay Town Council.

“Our gardens at Anisha Grange are stunning and are enjoyed all year round by our residents, who equally spend time planting and tending to the grounds in their gardening club. Congratulations all!”

A panel of judges from Billericay Town Council and the RHS visited our home in July before coming to their decision.

Entrants were judged in accordance with the Royal Horticultural Society guidelines.
