Arlington Manor donates £1000 to the East Anglian Air Ambulance
Arlington Manor, our new residential, dementia and nursing care home in Girton, Cambridge has donated £1000 to the East Anglian Air Ambulance, who since launching in 2000, have attended over 22,000 lifesaving missions.
Representatives from Arlington Manor donated the money to the emergency medical service charity recently at the East Anglian Air Ambulance’ Cambridge base at Marshall’s Airport on Newmarket Road.
Customer Relationship Manager at Arlington Manor, Lisa Vile said: “Arlington Manor is delighted to be donating this money to The East Anglian Air Ambulance, who do amazing work both in the local and wider communities providing lifesaving medical assistance.
“We hope that the money we have donated will go towards helping them in their efforts to touch thousands of lives a year through their determination, hard work and passion.”
Community Fundraiser at the East Anglian Air Ambulance, Fern Clark said: “As a community funded charity we rely on support like this to keep our helicopters in the sky and the crew saving lives.
“The money they have donated will ensure we can continue helping those patients most in need of our care. So on behalf of everyone at East Anglian Air Ambulance and the patients we treat, I’d like to say a huge thank you to Arlington Manor for their support.”
Arlington Manor Care Home is due to open in October and will include; a café, hair salon, therapy room, roof terrace and will provide residential, dementia and nursing care.
