Topping out ceremony for our new Banstead care home

A major milestone has been marked at our new 77 bed care home in Banstead, which will provide residential and dementia care.

The sites construction team were joined recently by our Managing Director Ram Goyal and the Mayor, Councillor Dorothy Ross-Tomlin to mark the next stage of the build as the last roof tile was officially laid.

Banstead Manor Care Home is being built at a cost of £8 million across a one acre site on Brighton Road by specialist care contractor, Lawrence Baker.

Our home when opened will provide a spacious, luxurious and sociable environment where family members are encouraged to spend time in the home, participate in activities and spend time with their loved ones.

Facilities will include; a state-of-the-art cinema, luxurious hairdressers, therapy room and café. Each bedroom will be elegantly furnished, have an en-suite bathroom and those on the ground floor will have access to their own patio.

Other communal areas will include; an interactive kitchen where residents can assist in the preparation of meals and landscaped gardens designed by late, award-winning landscape architect, David Fountain.

Managing Director of Hallmark Care Homes, Ram Goyal said: “We are really excited to be opening a brand new care home in Banstead and look forward to providing high-quality relationship-centred care to the community.

“Our new home will provide residents with a place where they feel safe and supported to live an active and fulfilled life.”

Banstead Manor is scheduled to open its doors to its first residents in spring next year.
