Miss Southend visits Admiral Court Care Home

Residents at Admiral Court, our care home in Leigh-on-Sea, recently enjoyed a visit from local pageant winner, Emily Evans, who was crowned Miss Southend earlier this year.

The Miss Great Britain 2018 finalist visited Admiral Court with her mum on Saturday and enjoyed chatting with the residents in their vibrant café.

During her visit, Emily took part in a knitting activity with the residents, who were very surprised to see that she was already an experienced knitter.

Emily, who has visited Admiral Court on numerous occasions, said: “We love visiting this home. It is so bright, clean and welcoming. The residents always look like they’re enjoying themselves.”

Customer Relationship Manager at Admiral Court Care Home, Nicola Sutcliffe said: “Emily is a lady of many talents. It was lovely for Miss Southend to take the time to visit us, join in with our activities and take an interest in the wonderful residents at Admiral Court.”
