Lakeview Care Home to host community open day – Saturday 19th January

Lakeview, our residential and dementia care home in Lightwater, Surrey, is hosting an open day event for members of the local community on Saturday 19th January from 12:30pm to 5:00pm.

At 12:30pm, you can take an informal tour of Lakeview and view the beautiful facilities in the home, including a cinema room, hair salon and landscaped gardens.

At 1:00pm, you can hear from an experienced Nutritionist who will be speaking about the key facts to remember when making dietary choices.

At 2:00pm, Adam Poulter from Foundations Physio will be talking to guests about falls prevention and how to avoid muscle loss and improve balance at any age.

At 3:00pm, you can sample the delicious food at Lakeview Care Home with a miniature menu tasting.

At 4:00pm, you can join Lakeview’s Customer Relationship Manager, Jane Knight, for an informal and educational Dementia Friends session. The short session explores what it is like to live with dementia, how you can make someone who lives with dementia live a fulfilled life and the small things you can do to make a difference.
