  • Tuesday 26th March, 10.30am – 11.30am

The informal and interactive sessions will be run by the homes Dementia Champion, Melissa Jorgensen, who is the Customer Relationship Manager at Banstead Manor.

The short sessions will explore what it’s like to live with dementia, how you can support someone who lives with dementia to live a fulfilled live and the small things you can do to make a difference.

Visitors who complete the session will receive a dementia friends badge and takeaway material from the Alzheimer’s Society.

Melissa Jorgensen said: “The drop in session will tell you everything you need to know about dementia. One in three of us will live with dementia in their life, therefore it’s important that as a care provider we get the word out there and as a community we become more dementia friendly.”
