2019 Garden award for Anisha Grange Care Home

Anisha Grange, our care home in Billericay has been named Best Care/Nursing Home at the annual Billericay in Bloom gardening competition for the third year running.

Our home, which offers residential, nursing and dementia care was praised for its use of outdoor space on the judging day.

The Billericay in Bloom competition first established in 1999, encourages residents and the local community to get involved in gardening, be it by planting pots or simply sitting in the garden and joining in with the conversation. Over 55 local premises entered this year’s competition.

Customer Relationship Manager at Anisha Grange Care Home, Carl Roberts said: “It was an honour to represent Hallmark Care Homes and Anisha Grange at the annual Billericay in Bloom Awards. As a community focused business, we have great enjoyment meeting with and engaging with other members of the town.

“Billericay is such an incredible place and coming together at events like this which are organised by the town council makes us stronger as a community. The team and residents were so excited to hear that the home had won the award for Best Care Home Gardens.”

A panel of judges from Billericay Town Council and the RHS visited our home in July before coming to their decision.

Entrants were judged in accordance with the Royal Horticultural Society guidelines.
