Henley Manor takes one step closer to completion
A major milestone has been marked at our new 80 bed care home, which will provide residential, nursing and dementia care and create over 100 jobs locally.
The sites construction team were recently joined by our MD Ram Goyal, Chair Avnish Goyal and the Mayor, Councillor Ken Arlett to mark the next stage of the build as the last roof tile was officially laid.
Henley Manor is being built at a cost of £8.5 million across a one-acre site on Mill Lane.
Our home when completed will provide a spacious, luxurious and sociable environment where family members are encouraged to spend time with their loved ones and participate in activities.
Facilities at our home will include; a cinema, hairdressers and therapy room. Each bedroom will be elegantly furnished, have an en-suite bathroom and many of those on the ground floor will have access to their own patio.
Other communal areas include; a café, a celebrations room and several dining rooms which will enable relatives to have a meal with their loved ones on occasion.
Outside there will be a putting green, several water features and landscaped gardens with raised planters, giving residents the opportunity to get involved in the gardening.
Hallmark Care Homes Managing Director, Ram Goyal said: “We have years of knowledge and experience of building award-winning care homes. We are excited to be able to create an engaging new care community at Henley on Thames.
“Henley Manor will provide residents with a place where they feel safe and supported to live an active and fulfilled life.”
Henley Manor is scheduled to open its doors to its first residents in December this year.
