Banstead Manor Care Home to host several Dementia Friends sessions
Banstead Manor, our care home in Banstead is hosting several Dementia Friends sessions at the home to encourage visitors to learn more about the condition and to help raise awareness.
The sessions will be taking place on the following dates and times at our residential, nursing and dementia home on Brighton Road.
Thursday 28th November at 11:00am
Thursday 12th December at 2:00pm
Saturday 11th January at 12:00pm
The informal and interactive sessions will be run by the homes Dementia Champions.
The short sessions which will last approximately one hour, will explore what its like to live with dementia, how you can make someone who lives with dementia live a fulfilled life and the small things you can do to make a difference.
Visitors who complete the session will receive a Dementia Friends badge and some takeaway material from The Alzheimer’s Society.
