Henley Manor to host two community open days
Henley Manor, our brand-new care home in Henley on Thames is hosting two community open days on Saturday 25th January and Saturday 1st February.
From 10am to 4pm on both days, members of the local community seeking care advice are welcome to pop in, meet the team and take a tour of our industry-leading facilities.
Scheduled to open at the end of the month, our residential, dementia and nursing home provides the perfect backdrop for residents to form lasting relationships. Here, residents can enjoy quality time with family and socialise with friends.
Facilities include a bright and inviting café, a state-of-the-art cinema and a luxurious hair salon and therapy room. There is also a celebrations room at the home which can be used by families for special occasions, a music room and a sensory room to support people living with dementia.
Meanwhile outside there is an outdoor putting green, aviary, greenhouse, living wall and water wall surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens encouraging residents to take daily walks and continue their passion for gardening.
Our dedicated and caring lifestyles team at the home will ensure that residents live life to the full, in safe and comfortable surroundings. There is a packed activities calendar to suit all tastes and abilities. From Tai Chi and exercise classes for keeping active to flower arranging, painting and music sessions to keep the creative juices flowing, there will be lots on offer for residents to get involved with and activities are tailored to meet individual needs.
Professional chefs will use the freshest ingredients to prepare delicious, nutritionally balanced meals throughout the day. The menu will feature classic and new dishes alongside a carefully selected wine list which will be updated regularly, ensuring there are a range of options for people to choose from, every day.
