Hallmark to celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day

Team members across our 19 care homes will celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day on Monday 18th February by giving compliments and performing selfless acts for others.

To mark this day, all of our homes have received random acts of kindness cards which can be used to give a compliment or an appreciation message to one of their colleagues or residents.

The General Managers at each of our homes will also be acknowledging their team with a special surprise treat before or after the day to thank them for all their hard work.

The purpose of the event is to create a company-wide moment and culture of performing random acts of kindness for others.

Managing Director of Hallmark Care Homes, Ram Goyal said: “We cannot wait to celebrate this day and hear lots of stories of how this initiative has been received in our homes. Care and kindness are at the heart of Hallmark. We care about our team, the residents and the communities in which we work. We would like to give our team more opportunity to show that they care about their colleagues and residents and to demonstrate that the simplest of things can make a huge difference to someone’s day.”

People and Performance Director, Elizabeth Fairchild said: “There are lots of ways our team can perform random acts of kindness for others and it can be something as simple as giving someone a compliment, baking a cake or doing a favour and not expecting anything in return. We are looking forward to marking this day and sharing the love across all our homes.”
