Anisha Grange Care Home awarded ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating
Team members and residents at our Billericay care home are celebrating after receiving an ‘Outstanding’ rating from the Care Quality Commission.
The health watchdog gave Anisha Grange, our care home on Outwood Common Road the maximum overall rating putting it in a small percentage of care homes across the country to achieve this high standard.
The report praised our residential, nursing and dementia home for their ‘exceptional and distinctive leadership’ and out of five key areas reviewed, two of the five were rated ‘Outstanding’ whilst the others was rated as ‘Good.’
Our home was rated as ‘Outstanding’ in the areas of ‘responsive’ and ‘well led’ ‘and ‘Good’ for its service being ‘safe,’ ‘effective’ and ‘caring.’
The planned inspection took place on 22nd January and the report that was published on 2nd April said: “People provided glowing feedback about the service and care team.
“People were supported to have as much choice and control over their lives and were supported in the least restrictive way possible.
“An inclusive and caring ethos was evident throughout the organisation which was strongly promoted by the management team and provider and shared by the care home team.”
One resident was also quoted in the report, they said: “I can honestly say I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else than here; I know I am safe and well looked after.”
General Manager at Anisha Grange, Daniel Rowark said: “As the General Manager of Anisha Grange, I am incredibly proud that the home has been recognised as Outstanding by CQC.
“Anisha Grange has been on an incredible journey over the last 14 months since I joined the home.
“The amazing care, love and kindness is palpable and to be recognised as Outstanding by CQC is testament to this.
“I would like to thank the residents, relatives and team members for making every day a true pleasure and I look forward to the next stages of our journey together.”
