Bucklesham Grange to host an activity a week for the community

We are delighted to announce that Bucklesham Grange, our care home in Ipswich, will be hosting a virtual activity each week on zoom to support members of the local community to stay active and reduce the risk of social isolation.

The initiative will kick off on Friday 22nd May at 11am, with a small exercise class and gentle guided meditation, aimed at the mind, body and soul. The sessions will then run weekly every Friday at 11am.

Customer Relationship Manager at the home, David Martins said: “We understand that a lot of people are isolating and socially this can be very tough for people so in order to support the local community, we wanted to run some weekly classes that we run in the home on a day to day basis, to help with everyone’s isolation.

“We think this could be valuable in helping stimulate people both mentally and physically and to help people socialise when they are unable to see other people.”

Please note, you will have to have Zoom installed prior to the session and all sessions will be recorded.
