The Innovation Challenge, which was open to all team members at Hallmark Care Homes and Savista Developments was introduced to give employees the opportunity to put forward their innovative ideas and solutions with the aim of improving our care provision across our current and future businesses.

Lifestyles Leader at Ty Enfys Care Home, Lily Chapman said: “I was delighted to be a part of the winning team of the Innovation Challenge. Not every idea needs to cost money, there are simple steps we can take to improve the service we deliver to the residents within Hallmark.

“Induction, training and empowering team to deliver quality care is something I am very passionate about and I cannot wait to see the implementation and results. The support we have to dream big and achieve within Hallmark together with the desire to improve the quality of life for the residents within our care is what drives me and it is a pleasure to be a part of the process!”

We feel really passionately about the design we put forward for a more personalised approach to our dementia bedrooms and to be given an opportunity to implement this within our homes is just fantastic!
