Hutton View Care Home to light up Brentwood

Hutton View, our brand-new care home in Hutton, Brentwood, has sponsored a Christmas tree which is located at the chapel ruins on Brentwood High Street.

The tree, which is a 20-foot-tall Nordmann fir, will have its lights switched on as part of a virtual event taking place on Thursday 3rd December, between 5:30pm and 6:30pm.

Sarah Walmsley, Community Service Officer at Brentwood Borough Council said; “Brentwood Borough Council are really excited to switch on our borough lights on Thursday 3rd December during our online event which will be jam pack with local performances, choirs and dance acts along with a speech from our Deputy Mayor Cllr Olivia Sanders.

“Brentwood Brough Council are grateful to our sponsors including Hallmark Care Homes for sponsoring one of our beautiful Christmas trees to spread some much-needed Christmas cheer this year. The trees will be lit and in place for 6 weeks for families to enjoy as they venture out on a walk after the lockdown.”

Customer Relationship Manager at Hutton View Care Home, Carl said: “We are so proud to be part of this amazing community. In these dark times of the pandemic we hope that the beauty of this tree will spread some real Christmas joy to many people, bringing a smile and warm feelings!

“We look forward to many happy years of being a part of this community and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
