Hutton View to present a live stream pantomime of Little Red Riding Hood
Hutton View, our state-of-the-art care home in Brentwood will present a live stream pantomime of Little Red Riding Hood for charity on Tuesday 22nd December.
The event which is suitable for all the family will commence at 2pm and will be performed by an all-star cast of Hutton View team members.
During the event guests can join us live over Microsoft Teams in the mysterious forest as Little Red journeys to her grandmother’s house and meets the big bad wolf!
As part of the event we will be raising money for Little Havens Children Hospice, part of Havens Hospices. There will also be a chance to win a beautiful Christmas hamper and your name will be put into the hat with each donation.
There will also be post show carol singing for those who wish to join in.
Customer Relationship Manager at Hutton View, Carl Roberts said: “It is great to be able to spread a little festive joy this time of year with a classic pantomime. Team have been busy rehearsing for what should be a fun show. Residents have really enjoyed creating props, costume elements and set and we can’t wait to go live on our Facebook Page and over Microsoft Teams for the community to share in the experience as they say in the West End, break a leg guys!”
Voluntary Income Manager at Havens Hospices, Judy Grocott said: “We can’t thank everyone at Hutton View Care Home enough for taking part in our 12 Days of Christmas campaign and fundraising in aid of Little Havens. As people celebrate Christmas with their family or friends, our hospices will still be open to provide 24-hour care to those who need us most.
“In the lead up to Christmas, we are asking our local communities in Essex to help us raise a total of £24,000 – as that’s the cost of providing emergency symptom control and end of life care at Little Havens and Fair Havens on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. We don’t charge a penny for our care – and that’s only possible because of donations made by organisations like Hutton View Care Home.”
