Kew House Care Home scoops national award
We are delighted to announce that Kew House, our care home in Wimbledon, has scooped a prestigious national award.
The home, which is rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission, won the coveted ‘Care Team’ title at the 22nd National Care Awards and was also shortlisted in the ‘Care Home of the Year’ category.
The National Care Awards, first established 22 years ago by leading care publication, Caring Times, aims to recognise and celebrate the very best people in the long-term care sector.
General Manager at Kew House Care Home Yetty Adepegba said: “We are absolutely delighted and thrilled to have won the ‘Care Team’ accolade at this year’s National Care Awards.
“The team here always strive to provide the best outcomes for the residents of Kew House and to be recognised in this way is truly amazing.
“This year has been a tough year for the care sector and I am so proud of the way that the entire team has worked together to ensure that the residents wellbeing is at the forefront of all that we do.”
Nurse at Admiral Court Care Home, Shabnam Sagar was also shortlisted in the ‘Care Registered Nurse’ category, alongside Hostess at Anisha Grange Care Home, Sandra Watson, who was shortlisted in the ‘Care Champion’ category.
