Anya Court Care Home achieves 99% in external infection prevention control audit
Care workers at our care home in Rugby are celebrating after achieving nearly a 100% rating in an external infection prevention control audit.
The annual audit which was conducted on the 1st December 2020 by NHS South Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group, rag rated and scored our home in 28 areas including; general management, personal protective equipment, staff health, staff training and food handling.
The overall compliance rating achieved was 99%.
General Manager at Anya Court Care Home, Michelle Sides said: “We are delighted here at Anya Court to have received such a high rating from our external inspection for infection prevention control from the CCG.
“Infection control is a top priority for all the team here and we work very hard to ensure we keep the home a safe place to live and work for our residents, team members and visiting families.
“We carry out internal monitoring to ensure we maintain high standards, so it is important to us that our external stakeholders are finding on their inspections we are delivering on this.
“All credit goes to the team who work tirelessly to attain this.”
