Alexandra Grange Care Home celebrates random acts of kindness

Alexandra Grange Care Home will be celebrating Random Acts of Kindness Week from the 14th-20th February by running an exciting competition on their Facebook page.

Random Acts of Kindness Week is a week dedicated to kindness and taking that extra, conscious step to brighten somebody’s day. It was created by the Random Acts of Kindness Foundation with the intention of encouraging more harmony and kindness between people by offering thoughtful gestures of kindness, no matter how big or small.

Have you experienced a random act of kindness and would like to return the favour? If you have, comment on the post at the top of the page and tag the person who performed the random act of kindness and share your story of what they did to make your day.

All entries will then be entered into a draw and a winner will be picked at random. The nominee and nominator will win a luxury homemade box of chocolates each made by Alexandra Grange’s Chef and Chocolatier, Sonya.

Customer Relationship Manager at Alexandra Grange, Denise Greene said: “As part of the Wokingham community, the residents and team at Alexandra Grange are recipients of acts of kindness on a regular basis and recognise that over the past year there have been so many people supporting others in the community without expectation of anything in return!

“During the week of ‘Random Acts of Kindness Day’ we would like to take the opportunity to recognise, thank and share the kind deeds that others in our community have performed during the last year.

“It is important for us all to feel part of a community and a simple thank you to those who give without expectation is the least we can do!”
