Hallmark Nurse to ‘Brave the Shave’ for Macmillan Cancer Support
Nurse at Regency House Care Home, Zoe Hughes, will be taking part in long-standing campaign ‘Brave the Shave’ to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The enormous gesture, which will take place on 20th April, will see Zoe have her long hair shaved off at her local salon to raise vital funds for the cancer charity.
Macmillan is a charity that provides physical, financial and emotional support from the moment a person is diagnosed with cancer, through your treatment and beyond.
Zoe, who has already raised £390 said: “Being a nurse I have come into contact with so many wonderful people who have been touched by cancer. I know the amazing job Macmillan does and how important fundraising is to them so I feel honoured to do my part to support them.”
