Shire Hall celebrates joining the country’s top-rated care homes

We are delighted to announce that Shire Hall, our care home in Cardiff, has been awarded the top review score by independent care website, carehome.co.uk.

Our industry-leading care home is rated 10 out of 10 on the reviews website. The score puts Shire Hall in an elite group of care homes rated the best in the country for their quality.  Just three other care homes in Wales currently hold the same accolade, one of which is Greenhill Manor, our care home in Merthyr Tydfil.

Our residential, dementia and nursing care home on Dumballs Road, was recognised by the leading review website for care homes, for the number and quality of recommendations they received from residents and relatives in the last year.

In order to review the home, visitors fill out a recommendation form, scoring the home on a range of areas from care to facilities and food and drink.

One recent review from a relative said: “The team at Shire Hall have looked after my mum very well, and she is very happy there. We are always made welcome on visiting. They have gone above and beyond to keep Mum safe for the last difficult period.”
