General Manager to climb Snowdon for breast cancer charity

General Manager of Ty Enfys Care Home, Sujjata Singh, will be taking part in the Snowdon Night Trek in an effort to raise money for ‘Against Breast Cancer’ on 7th August.

Against Breast Cancer funds pioneering research into new treatments, tools for earlier diagnosis and advice to reduce the risk of recurrence and secondary spread. The charity works with expert scientists to increase the survival rates of all breast cancer patients and ultimately, they aim to discover a vaccine against breast cancer.

The trek, which will see Sujjata climb the highest mountain in Wales, will consist of 1,085 metres in the dark, reaching the summit by the time the sun rises. Sujjata will be facing the challenge alongside Regional Landscape Gardener, Nick Mannion.

Sujatta said: “I want to raise awareness and money for breast cancer. There are personal reasons as well as well as professional, as we all know at least one person who has had breast cancer and had to go through a very challenging time in their life.”

Sujjata has already raised a whopping £715 but hopes to raise £1,000 for the worthy charity. If you would like to make a donation, you can do so here.
