Hallmark shortlisted for five National Care Awards

We are delighted to announce that three team members from our care homes, one member of our Executive Leadership Team and Hallmark as a company have been shortlisted for this year’s National Care Awards.

General Manager of Ty Enfys, Sujjata Singh, has been shortlisted in the ‘Care Leadership’ category, alongside Dementia Care Manager at Maycroft Manor Care Home, Sara Heath, who is shortlisted in the ‘Dementia Care Manager’ category.

Meanwhile, Care Assistant at Regency House Care Home, Charmaine Lloyd, has been shortlisted in the ‘Care Newcomer’ category alongside Group Operations Director, Aneurin Brown who is shortlisted in the ‘Care Operations / Area Manager’ category.

Hallmark Care Homes is also pleased to be shortlisted in the coveted ‘Care Home Group’ category, alongside four other care providers.

The National Care Awards, first established 23 years ago by leading care publication, Caring Times, aims to recognise and celebrate the very best people in the long-term care sector.

Speaking of being shortlisted, Dementia Care Manager, Sara Heath said: “I think overall I feel utterly overwhelmed. I do my job not for recognition but because caring for our residents is what comes naturally.

“I believe I do have Hallmark to thank for this nomination, and for that I will always be indebted to a company that believe in enabling team, embracing people’s ambition and aspiration to learn to not only enhance their personal career, but to also provide the best possible care to our residents.”

I am so very thankful and feel extremely empowered to continue delivering the care to our residents and learning and developing more in the future.”

Care Assistant, Charmaine Lloyd said “I feel so proud and honoured to have even been nominated and I cannot express how happy I am to have made the final selection.

“I feel so appreciated in my role every single day and Hallmark is the best company I have worked for so I am super proud to represent them in the final.”

General Manager, Sujjata Singh said: “I am thrilled and honoured to be shortlisted for this prestigious award and I am looking forward to the ceremony.”

Group Operations Director, Aneurin Brown said: “I am absolutely overjoyed to be shortlisted for Operations Manager at the National Care Awards. It is an honour to be recognised amongst the other well-deserving finalists.”

Founder and Executive Chair, Avnish Goyal said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted in the ‘Care Home Group’ category at the National Care Awards.

“Being shortlisted for this prestigious award is a fantastic achievement and it is well-deserved recognition for each and every one of our team members who go above and beyond.

“The past 18 months have been challenging, and our team members have worked as one big family to ensure residents stay safe, happy and engaged and I am so grateful for their dedication and passion.”

The winners of the 23rd National Care Awards will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at the Hilton London Metropole on Friday 19th November.
