Lakeview care home collecting stamps for charity
Lakeview, our care home in Lightwater, Surrey, will be collecting stamps to raise money for both the Alzheimer’s Society and Parkinson’s UK.
The Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity, who campaign for change, fund research to find a cure and support people living with dementia. Parkinson’s UK fundraise to find a cure and improve life for everybody affected by Parkinson’s.
Team members, residents and relatives have already started bringing in their used stamps and the initiative will continue for the rest of the year.
Customer Relationship Manager at Lakeview, Louise Martin said: “In these times, we all receive less post than we used to, but through a concerted effort and spreading the word we are still hoping to collect a great number of used stamps to share equally between these two charities.”
If you can help us to collect stamps and raise funds for these critical charities then please contact Customer Relationship Manager, Louise Martin at louise.martin@hallmarkcarehomes.co.uk or call 01276 480430.
