Henley Manor team raise £400 for Comic Relief

We are delighted to announce that Henley Manor, our care home in Henley-on-Thames, recently raised £400 for Comic Relief.

Team members, along with the help of resident, Graham Littlewood, 79, took part in a 100-mile static bike ride on Red Nose Day to raise funds for the charity.

Comic Relief have a vision of a world free from poverty and the £400 will contribute towards making a difference to the lives of millions of people across the UK and around the world.

Customer Relationship Manager at Henley Manor, Charlotte Bennett said: “The team had a brilliant day ‘clowning’ around for comic relief.

“We managed to cycle 100 miles by taking it in turns on an exercise bike, all whilst dressed as clowns!

“We even had resident; Graham involved who took us over the finish line. We had loads of fun, raised over £400 and even appeared on the radio.”
