Hallmark Care Homes shortlisted for four NAPA Member Activity Awards

We are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for four NAPA Member Activity Awards!

The NAPA Member Awards celebrate excellence in activity provision. The purpose of the awards are to recognise the incredible contribution of individuals and teams who demonstrate outstanding commitment and expertise in activity provision.

Emily Carver from Maycroft Manor has been shortlisted for The Year of Creativity Award alongside Bucklesham Grange who have been shortlisted for The Activity Team of the Year Award.  Kyle Keel from Greenhill Manor has been shortlisted in Unsung Hero category whilst Hallmark has also been recognised being shortlisted for the prestigious Arts in Care Home’s Award.

Head of Dementia Care and Wellbeing, April Dobson said: “Our lifestyles teams are such dedicated professionals and are incredibly passionate about what they do.  They constantly surprise me with their creativity and they truly believe that anything is possible.  It is wonderful to see them recognised as finalists in the NAPA awards which celebrate the very best of the best.  Everyone at Hallmark Care Homes is proud of them.”

Lifestyles Leader at Maycroft Manor, Emily Carver said: “I am over the moon to be shortlisted for the NAPA Year of Creativity award.  It is a huge accomplishment for me and my team who work hard to bring creativity and imagination to everything we do.”

Lifestyle’s Leader at Bucklesham Grange, Kelly Sheeran said: “I feel really privileged for myself and my team to be put up for this award. Not just the ladies in pink, but the garden team, the salon ladies and all the other team that get themselves involved in activities.

“Our job is fun. But we take pride in why we do what we do, and that to have a positive impact on residents and their wellbeing and promote their life story and their next chapter. It’s a pleasure to manage the lifestyle team because we get to make a difference everyday.”

Lifestyle’s Assistant at Greenhill Manor Care Home, Kyle Keel added: “I was shocked and overwhelmed, it was the last thing I expected when I was told. I truly am grateful.”

The winners will be announced on the 7th October at NAPA’s online awards ceremony.
