Greenhill Manor raise money for Hope Rescue Centre at doggie themed afternoon tea
To celebrate four-legged friends, Greenhill Manor, our care home in Merthyr recently hosted a pet friendly afternoon tea event to raise money for Hope Rescue Centre.
As part of the PAWSOME event, residents, relatives, visiting professionals and their fluffy friends were treated to a pupcakes, puppuccino’s and a takeway goodie bag which included a bandana, treats, and toys.
During the special event which was attended by 15 pooches, our residential and nursing home also held a raffle to win a basket of goodies with the proceeds going to the charity.
Lifestyle’s Leader at Greenhill Manor Care Home, Amanda Francis said: “We were absolutely amazed to see so many people attend our first doggy afternoon tea event and to see the pure joy it brought to the residents. It was such a success that we cannot wait to hold our next event and are already planning it. The money raised will be going to our local Hope Rescue Centre.”
