Hallmark team members shortlisted for Care Sector’s Got Talent!
We are delighted to announce that three of our gifted team members have been shortlisted for Championing Social Care initiative, Care Sector’s Got Talent!
Talented Care Assistants; Sarabdeep Singh from Lakeview Care Home, Ashik Suleiman from Shire Hall and Aiysha Rastall from Admiral Court have been selected to perform live at the grand final in October alongside five worthy finalists.
Sarabdeep has been recognised for his dancing abilities, whilst Aiysha and Ashik have been recognised for their singing abilities and ability to play the guitar.
Care Sector’s Got Talent, first established last year seeks to showcase of the amazing hidden talents of the social care sector. Whether it is singing, comedy, dancing, or magic Care Sector’s Got Talent looks to celebrate all in their national talent extravaganza.
The special event sponsored by Tower Fire Group and Florence will also be live streamed and hosted by Majesticare, COO Angela Boxhall and backstage the care sector’s very own ‘Ant and Dec’ – Mark Topps and Adam Purnell from The Caring View.
Judges to this year’s competition include; Steph Thompson from My Home Life England, Sanjay Dhrona from the Close Care Home, Sarah Hyman from Caring Times and Rob Martin from Anchor.
The winner will be awarded £500 in Love2Shop Vouchers and be invited to perform at the Care Show on 12th October.
Ashik said: “I feel grateful to be a part of such a big event. Being a finalist in such a prestigious event has given me more confidence in myself and I believe this confidence and the enormous support from Shire Hall is motivating me to perform my best for the finals.”
Aiysha said: It is nerve racking to be shortlisted, I have been singing since I was 15 years old. I become a carer after looking after my granddad and my favourite thing about my role is caring for the residents.”
Sarabdeep said: I feel very blessed to be shortlisted. I feel thrilled and honoured. I will give my best performance next week and entertain all the guests while showing my skills of dance.”
Rebecca Woolley of Championing Social Care said: “We know the team at Hallmark are incredibly talented at providing exceptional care but it is outstanding to see what incredible performers and entertainers they are too. We are so excited to see them perform at the final and wish them and all the other contestants the best of luck!”
