Greenhill Manor Care Home celebrates 15 years!  

Our care home in Merthyr Tydfil, celebrated 15 years since it first opened its doors recently with a Christmas themed event for residents, relatives, and members of the local community.

Greenhill Manor Care Home, which welcomed its first residents in 2007, recognised individuals who have contributed to its success at the event with champagne, a harpist and a Christmas cake competition.

As part of the milestone event, the Mayor Declan Sammon and Dawn Bowden member of the senedd was also in attendance and helped judged the company’s internal Christmas cake competition where Cherry Tree Care Home in Caldicot was crowned overall winner.

Long serving residents and team at the home on Duffryn Road were also recognised with a small gift of appreciation.

General Manager at Greenhill Manor Care Home, Karen Beech said: “We had a great day celebrating our 15th anniversary and the residents had a fabulous time. All of the Greenhill Manor family are strongly committed to the home and foster an atmosphere of care and support that enables the residents to fulfil interesting and active lives and I am delighted to be part of such a wonderful team. We look forward to marking our next milestone!”
