Lakeview Care Home to launch dementia support café

Lakeview, our industry-leading care home in Lightwater on Lightwater Road, will launch it’s very own “Let’s talk” dementia support café at the care home to encourage carers of those living with dementia to come together and support each other.

The first café session will take place Wednesday 17th May at 11:00am.

Lakeview’s, Customer Relationship Manager, Louise Martin said: “We have decided to launch a support café at Lakeview care home, there are currently around 900,000 people in the UK living with dementia and it is extremely important to us as a care provider in the heart of the vibrant village of Lightwater, Surrey that we do all that we can to encourage a more supportive and dementia friendly community.

“The café will offer a support network for carers and those living with dementia a safe place so that they can come together to share knowledge and life experiences.”
