Hallmark team member shortlisted for NAPA Member Award

We are delighted to announce that one of our team members has been shortlisted for a NAPA Member Award.

Wellbeing Manager, Georgina Miller, who supports all of our homes with their lifestyle provision has been shortlisted for the prestigious Leadership title.

The NAPA Member Awards celebrate excellence in activity provision. The purpose of the awards are to recognise the incredible contribution of individuals and teams who demonstrate outstanding commitment and expertise.

Georgina Miller said: “NAPA is the UK’s leading activity and engagement charity, supporting care services to prioritise wellbeing and promote activity, arts, and engagement. They play a vital role in highlighting and promoting the importance of lifestyles and wellbeing in care homes. It is a great honour to be a finalist for the Leadership award and to have been nominated by my colleague’s. Hallmark Care Homes also recognises the importance of our lifestyles team and activity provision and I am lucky to work alongside, and support, the amazing lifestyle and wellbeing teams across all of our homes.

Researcher in Residence at Hallmark Care Homes, Dr Isabelle Latham added: “Managing the work of our excellent lifestyle teams is a challenging task. From coordinating Hallmark in Bloom, to making sure RELISH is working and everything in between, Georgina does it all with a minimum of fuss and a maximum of commitment! She is a wonderful advocate for the importance of lifestyles to the experiences of residents and tireless in her support of all the teams across the country. Everyone at Hallmark is so proud that her leadership and creativity has been recognised at these national awards.”

The winners of the NAPA Member Activity Awards will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony on Friday 6th October.
