Hallmark team member wins national leadership award!
We are delighted to announce that a member of our senior leadership team has been awarded a national Social Care Leadership Award.
Our Care Quality Governance and Compliance Director, Julie Rayner was awarded The Quality Assurance Leader title at a glittering ceremony held recently at The Hilton Bankside.
At the same event, our Founder and Executive Chair, Avnish Goyal CBE, came third in the Social Care Top 30 Awards.
The Social Care Top 30 and Leadership Awards organised by Care Talk Magazine provides an opportunity to showcase and recognise real leadership and excellence in the sector.
As part of the shortlisting process for the Social Care Top 30, Care Talk readers and sector professionals submit their nominations of who they think are the most influential leaders. Care Talk readers are then asked to vote online for the individual they think should be number one in the Top 30 chart.
At the national ceremony, Julie was recognised for her role in supporting Hallmark’s 22 homes to achieve Good or Outstanding care ratings from the Care Quality Commission and Care Inspectorate Wales.
Meanwhile, Avnish was recognised for his role at Care England and Championing Social Care, which seeks to shine a light on the social care workforce and raise money for charities including The Care Workers Charity and Alzheimer’s Society through annual events such as The Care Sector Ball.
Care Quality Governance and Compliance Director, Julie Rayner said: “Even being nominated for the Quality Assurance Leader Award was a huge honour, so actually winning the Award has been unbelievable. It is such a special honour to receive this recognition from my peers. However, this is not just an Award for me but for the entire Hallmark family, all of whom work tirelessly day in, day out to ensure the people who choose to live in our care homes do so knowing they will receive the highest quality of care. Working with such special people, all of whom are working towards a joint vision, makes the job of a quality director very easy!”
Avnish Goyal CBE added: “It’s an honour to be a finalist and I’d like to thank those who nominated me. It’s clear to me that we have many inspirational leaders in our sector – let us use this position to champion all that’s great and good in social care.”
