Now open, Midford Manor is one of our most exceptional care homes, perfectly situated on the outskirts of the beautiful spa town of Bath in Somerset where it will soon be home to 80 residents. The luxury feel of our care home is matched by our excellence in care, provided by professional and passionate teams who respect residents’ preferences and support their independence. Providing peace of mind knowing that high-quality residential, nursing and dementia care support is there 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, should care be required now, or in the future.

Designed with luxury in mind, from the thoughtful, purpose-built design of the home, through to the charming surroundings, quality service and devoted care team, residents can live a fulfilling and happy life at Midford Manor. We are proud to provide a full range of care, including residential, nursing and dementia, with our teams always on-hand to ensure that all residents’ needs are met. We encourage residents to make Midford Manor their home, living their lives the way they want, in comfort, within a warm and nurturing community, cared for by a highly experienced and compassionate team. Our priority is to ensure that every resident receives the very highest standards of care. To do this, we focus on the needs of each individual, because we understand that each person’s needs are different, in terms of medical, physical, emotional and even social requirements.

All bedrooms at Midford Manor Care Home have been designed with quality and comfort in mind. We want residents to feel ‘at home’ at Hallmark, encouraging them to make their bedroom their own. Whichever room you decide on, the high-end finishes, bespoke furnishings and friendly team will make Midford Manor the perfect place to call home.

Living at Midford Manor

Some residents may feel at home in one of our 14 stunning and spacious bedroom suites located on our second-floor community. Residents residing on this floor have direct access to the gym and wellness room, private lounge, dining room, garden room and bar area which leads directly onto the large, landscaped rooftop terrace. All ground floor bedrooms have direct access to the garden where residents can enjoy their own patio area, a perfect place to sit and enjoy a cuppa in the warmer months.

There are various beautifully designed communal areas to enjoy while living at Midford Manor Care Home. Residents are welcome to invite friends and family to visit them where they can enjoy fresh coffee, cakes, pastries and fruit in the café throughout the day. There’s plenty of time for pampering with weekly appointments at the hair salon, weekly manicure, monthly pedicure and chiropody appointments every eight weeks. For residents who love nothing more than watching an old classic on a big screen, then our cinema room with reclining chairs provides the perfect place for that full cinematic experience.

A fresh approach to care

We’ve taken a fresh approach to the way we care. ‘Home’ is important to all of us, and while it would be difficult to develop environments that are exact replicas of every person’s individual home, our aim is to try to re-create the ‘feelings’ associated with home for everyone who lives at Midford Manor, their families and friends. With 25 years of experience and academic research we have developed a unique model of care and wellbeing that we call ‘Welcome Home’. Everyone living at Midford Manor will benefit from this new approach where residents will feel loved, respected and cared for. We believe that people who feel ‘at home’ are happier, healthier, and have a more positive outlook on life in general.

Meet the manager

I’m delighted to be General Manager of Midford Manor Care Home. I bring a wealth of experience having worked across the health and social care sector for many years and I hold a number of qualifications including an ILM level 7 degree. It’s important for me to build a team at Midford Manor who are passionate about providing a high-quality, relationship-centred care for residents, their families and visitors.
