Maintenance Operative Role
We currently have an opportunity available for a Maintenance Operative to join our team.
The maintenance Operative will be responsible for all the internal and external maintenance of the Home and ensure a safe and pleasant environment for all residents, visitors and team members. The role will carry out weekly, Monthly and Bi-annual inspections in line with HSE guidelines and legislation and record in company manual for inspection by external bodies.
Carry out minor repairs such as furniture and equipment, plumbing repairs, including unblocking sinks, toilets and drains when necessary and minor electrical repairs, i.e. fuses, light bulbs, damaged sockets and call bells.
The role will work as part of a team assisting the kitchen staff and housekeeping in the maintenance of each area.
What experience do we like you to have for this role?
You will need to have a strong maintenance background with good knowledge of Health & Safety. You will have previous experience of carrying out minor repairs, conducting inspections and have good record keeping skills. You will be an effective team player and be able to work as part of a team. You will also have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft packages e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook.
