Care Home open week

Experience a ’Taste of Hallmark’

Enjoy some of our highlights from Care Home Open Week 2021

Care Home Open Week is a national event hosted by Championing Social Care and this year runs from 28th June to 4th July.

Its purpose is to connect care homes with their local communities, challenge misconceptions about care and remind everyone that the unique individuals who live in care homes are supported by dedicated and professional caring teams.

Hallmark Care Homes proudly held a special live event on Thursday 1st July, where we showcased what it’s like to live in one of our industry-leading care homes. The event, which was hosted by our Executive Chairman and Chair of Care England, Avnish Goyal, was broadcasted live from our beautiful home, Henley Manor in Henley on Thames.

If you missed the event, we’ll be sharing the link to watch both the morning and afternoon sessions again – check back to this page in the next few days. If you can’t wait, you can visit the Hallmark Facebook page Hallmark Care Homes – Home | Facebook or our YouTube channel HallmarkCareHomes – YouTube to watch our live sessions back.

Dancing our way through the day!

Throughout the day, team members and residents at each of our homes took part in a Danceathon to raise money for Musica Music and Wellbeing, you can view their best dance moves watching back on our live sessions.
We’re well on our way to raising £1,000 to enable Musica to deliver their online music activity library – Musica Connect – free of charge to individuals living with dementia. It’s not too late to make a donation, you can do so here.
Musica is a social enterprise which supports people living with dementia and their caregivers to use music in their daily lives. For more information visit their website – musica-music.co.uk
