Work Starts On New Brighton Care Home

A ‘Spade in the ground ceremony’ has marked the start of building at Maycroft Manor – Hallmark’s new care home in Brighton.

Maycroft Manor is a new 99-bed care home which will offer residential, nursing and dementia care. Facilities at the state-of-the-art home will include a cafe, cinema and various lounges and dining rooms.

Cllrs Carol Theobald and Ken Norman helped start work at the site and also accepted a donation towards the Lilac Collection –  a treasured group of lilac bushes, once protected by national status. Hallmark will continue to support the collection through a public art scheme throughout the build of Maycroft Manor.

The home is due for completion in Autumn 2013. Please call or email for further information.
