Caring team race for life

The manager of Regency House Care Home and laundry assistant of Ty Enfys Care Home took part in the Race for Life to in memory of a work colleague.  Debby Roose and Leanne McCaffrey ran the 5 kilometres along with friends and colleagues to raise money for the charity.

Debby managed to complete the challenging run in just under 44 minutes with Leanne coming in at 36 minutes.

Debby said, “This was big effort for me as I wouldn’t normally even run for the bus but I really wanted to help and make a difference to those who had lost a loved one to cancer. I want to thank all those who sponsored me and helped to support such a worthy cause.”
